The Bly Ranger District of the Fremont-Winema National
Forest will begin prescribed fire operations starting the week of October 8,
2017 as weather and air quality conditions permit.

in this project, located approximately 12 miles north of Beatty, just west of
Spodue Mountain.
Long – 300 acres of prescribed burning is

For visitor and firefighter safety:
- Watch for prescribed fire signs in the area
